Review Of The Davidoff Limited Art Edition 2014 CigarsThe Davidoff Limited Art Edition of 2014 is the first in the Limited Art Editions to be made by Davidoff.  Featured on each of the boxes is commissioned works by Dominican artist Quisqueya Henriquez who’s work provokes a blend of Caribbean and Latin cultures. Davidoff’s master blenders have created another unique cigar, and its pairing with Henriquez’s work is nothing short of greatness.

These exceptional cigars are a balance between beautiful pepper and floral notes and a smooth creamy sweetness.  Adding to the uniqueness of the roll is the Mejorado filler tobaccos: (Piloto Viso, San Vicente Mejorado Seco, San Vicente, Mejorado Viso, Piloto Mejorado Seco, and Vicente Mejorado Viso). The perfect balance of these tobaccos adds complexity to the blend and provides earth and spice overtones. Dominican binder and wrappers are used to encase and finish the cigar, and each one rolled into a Perfecto shape.  Few select cigar rollers can create such a shape with the materials given.

As with all of the Limited Editions, the Davidoff Limited Art Edition of 2014 offers a perfect burn and smooth draw from a seamless wrapper.  Reviewers say to expect a well-balanced and flavorful experience when you light one of these up.

The 2014 Art Edition is limited to 3000 boxes for both “Forms of Freedom #1 and #2” artworks (6,000 total) and contains 10 Dominican-Puro perfectos. Each cigar measures 5 15/16 inches with a 54 ring gauge and will have a secondary band matching the artwork of the box it came in.
