Corojo Limitada Cigar By Kristoff Cigar CompanyThe Kristoff Corojo Limitada is a premium, full bodied smoke offered by Glen Case and his well-known Kristoff Cigars brand. This cigar has helped put a company struggling through a rebirth in the industry back on the map. The road hasn’t always been smooth sailing for Kristoff Cigars since its launch back in 2005. Difficulties in production and a resulting hit on their reputation have led the brand to move forward, hoping for a fresh start and a new found place in cigar shops and humidors. With the creation of such line-ups as the Kristoff Corojo Limitada they are well on their way to reaching their goals.

Following the business obstacles this brand has faced, owner Glen Case has been documented as saying that he was looking to rebrand both the cigars they produced as well as the company as a whole. In doing this, a higher quality control aspect was to be put in place and a stronger stake in the industry was to be achieved. Their double and triple fermented tobaccos are a substantial element in creating this higher level of success. This family man continues to strive for what he has called continued growth while producing smokes that he would personally enjoy himself.

The Kristoff Corojo Limitada is a fairly recent result of the rebranding efforts. This cigar is a medium to full bodied line that has been blended entirely of Habano seed tobacco that has gone through the brand’s standard multiple fermentation process. It is constructed of a Nicaraguan Corojo Habano wrapper, a Nicaraguan Habano binder, and premium filler of Nicaraguan Habano and Dominican Habano tobaccos. It is available in a number of sizes including the Robusto 5.5 x 54, Matador 6.5 x 56, Torpedo 6.25 x 52, and the Churchill 7 x 50.

Glen Case has said that the Kristoff Corojo Limitada is the spiciest stick his company produces and reviewers seem to agree completely. Directly out of the humidor this cigar is said to be stunning and sophisticated. The dark brown wrapper has been described as having just the right amount of veins to add to its beauty. The surface is oily, but solid in the hand which communicates the strength and high quality with which this cigar has been constructed. In the beginning this smoke is said to provide a nice balance of pepper and spice. Cigar reviewers have stated that this spiciness remains consistently throughout the smoke yet decreases at times. Hints of sweetness, leather and even floral flavors are said to appear following the midway point. It has been noted that the once dominant spicy taste returns with more intensity nearing the finale of the smoke. Overall, cigar smokers reviewing this stogie highly enjoyed this particular line. The draw was said to be outstanding and the burn was described as even and smooth throughout. In addition, one review expressed that the ash was impressive as well with its dark grey hue.

The Kristoff Corojo Limitada is an affordable cigar that numerous cigar smokers documenting their experience stated would be perfect for an after dinner smoke, or an ideal addition to a late night cocktail.
