Duck Commander Cut Em Cigars let fans of the show enjoy it in style.Fans of the A&E hit television show Duck Dynasty can now sit back in their recliner and enjoy officially licensed Duck Commander Cut Em cigars, while the Robertson family goes about its duck call fabrication business on-screen.

Ted’s Cigars – maker of Grand Marnier, Maker’s Mark, and Dale Jr. cigars and many more – has produced a stogie in honor of the blockbuster show’s cast. While the connection between waterfowl and cigars may not be immediately apparent to some, the company says that hunting and stogies are intricately linked by tradition. Who could be blamed for lighting a well-deserved stick to help relax after a long day hunting out in the field?

The two bands cradling Duck Commander Cut Em cigars feature the television show’s black and white signature logo of a waterfowl in flight. The box also shows a photograph depicting members of the Robertson family. According to the manufacturer, the stogie is hand-rolled in the Dominican Republic through a partnership with a production plant in that country.

Duck Commander Cut Em cigars are made of a blend that contains United States Broadleaf, Dominican Piloto Cubano, Dominican Habano, and Dominican Criollo 98 fillers. This interesting blend is bound by a Dominican Piloto Cubano binder and an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper. The stogie is available in a single size: a 6x50 Toro. It can be purchased in individual, airtight glass tube, eliminating the need for a humidor while enjoying a day in the great outdoors. Alternatively, the sticks are also available in boxed sets of 3, 10, and 25 pieces.

Diehard fans of the show appear to be thrilled at the thought of purchasing Duck Commander Cut Em cigars, if for no other reason than to use it as a conversation piece. Experienced smokers, on the other hand, seem much more skeptical, regarding the stogie as more of a novelty item. Nevertheless, reviewers tout the stogie’s “crisp, balanced core,” and “mouthwatering fillers.” Described as mellow and smooth, the stick is said to deliver pleasant notes of earth and cedar, mixed with a hint of vanilla and toast. Some also detected a bit of pepper. One reviewer said these stogies are made of a “pretty legit blend; it comes across as medium-bodied, with a bit of a citrus finish.” Other words used to portray the smoke’s overall qualities are “creamy” and “mild,” “flavorful” and “tame.”

As for appearance, the wrapper is said to show fine veins that reportedly have no major impact on the smoking experience. The stogie’s burn is considered nice with a satisfactory ash, but some touch-ups were needed.

Reviewers seem to agree that whether one is a fan of the show or not, Duck Commander Cut Em cigars are interesting stogies that are worth a try. They are available for purchase online and at retail outlets across the country. For the television show’s super-fans, this may be the perfect excuse to organize a trip to West Monroe, Louisiana, where the stogies are also for sale in the Duck Commander gift shop.
