This was a big year for one of the biggest personalities in the cigar industry. Rocky Patel has been in the business a long time, and while some may criticize his style, you cannot argue with the results. He has one of the best-selling brands of all time, a staple in every cigar shop and has garnered a few Top 25 Cigar of the year placements as well. This year saw the company release 7 new lines, including bringing back two of his past fan favorites.

The Rocky Patel Old World Reserve is two lines of cigars, made at two different factories. The line was first released over 10 years ago, and is now back with a slightly tweaked blend. They come in two different wrapper varieties for two different profile preferences.

The first is known as the Old World Reserve Corojo. It is a beautifully crafted cigar that is being made at the Plascencia Factory in Honduras. It features aged Nicaraguan filler and binder tobaccos followed by a stunning Honduran Corojo wrapper.

For fans of a darker, richer smoke, you can enjoy the Old World Reserve Maduro. This chocolatey smoke is crafted at Rocky’s own factory, TAVICUSA, in the heart of Esteli, Nicaragua. It features a blend of Nicaraguan and Costa Rican tobaccos along with a dark and oily Costa Rican maduro wrapper.

Both of these cigars are available in three great sizes and at a solid price. Enjoy the rebirth of the Rocky Patel Old World Reserve right here at Serious Cigars.
