The Intemperance series by RoMa Craft Cigars is the super-premium flagship brand, consisting of two wrapper options. Handcrafted at the Fabrica de Tobacco NicoSueno in Esteli, the inspiration for this cigar dates back to the sad day in 1919, when the 18th Amendment was passed. By banning consumption of intoxicating liquors, every consumer, merchant and producer of alcohol was considered a criminal until the reversal by way of the 21st Amendment’s ratification. In recent years, federal regulations have taken aim at tobacco companies, trying to box in their creative blends. The Intemperance series is RoMa Craft’s initiation of a movement against the new laws and restrictions. Framed by an Indonesian binder, Intemperance EC XVlll uses a choice Nicaraguan and Dominican filler. The Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper completes the blend, resulting in notes of wood, earth, spice and caramel.
