Cigar companies are always crafting blends to celebrate special occasions, but none have released anything quite like Rocky Patel’s ll-XXVl series. To commemorate the birthday of the mastermind at the helm of this industry behemoth, luxurious, super-premium tobaccos were handcrafted at the TaviCusa factory in Estelí. Cloaked under a hand-selected Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper, Rocky Patel chose rich, oily Mexican San Andreas tobacco for the binder. The blended filler is a medley of the finest Brazilian Mata Fina, Nicaraguan Condega and Ometepe and Honduran Jamastran tobaccos. Notes of dark berries, chocolate, espresso, vintage leather and savory spices burst onto the palate with every smooth, crisp draw. ll-XXVl will be a decadent addition to any humidor collection.
