Fratello Cigars
Omar de Frais, a former pro basketball player and NASA engineer, added small bath, boutique cigar manufacturer to his portfolio with the 2013 release of Fratello Cigars. Frais patiently spent two years perfecting and tweaking his new project, which became an overnight success upon its launch. All of these luxurious, refined stogies are hand crafted in Nicaragua in a small factory that Frais purchased for this exciting endeavor. Fratello, Frias’s nickname in college, translates to brother in Italian, which is a fitting name for this company considering the tight-knit companionship in the cigar industry. Fratello Cigars caught the attention and palates of many cigar aficionados with its namesake, rookie release, which also garnered 90+ ratings. Since the debut line, many other decadent blends have churned out of this company, such as Oro and Bianco. Cigar aficionados will appreciate the superb craftsmanship coupled with super-premium tobaccos found in each of Fratello’s refined blends.
