Casa Turrent Cigars
The Turrent family has been creating fine premium handmade Mexican cigars for many generations, and for those of you not familiar with the name, these talented tobacco experts where the ones who created the famous Te-Amo brand! Today, the brand portfolio consists of the Casa Turrent 1880, which pays tribute to the year the Turrent family entered the tobacco growing business. Fittingly, it’s made with primarily all Mexican tobaccos with some aged Nicaraguan leaves blended in to enhance the flavors. 1880 is a beefy, solidly packed line of cigars with medium to full body flavors of pepper, charred wood, espresso, cedar, and cinnamon. The company’s second installment, Casa Turrent 1901, made its debut with an oily San Andrés Negro seed wrapper, paired with Mexican and Nicaraguan binder and filler tobaccos cultivated from a Cuban-seed Criollo varietal. This intensely delicious medium body smoke provides highly complex notes of coffee, wood, toasted almond, warm spice, cinnamon, and a rich buttery sweetness on the exhale. Both Casa Turrent brands will have you rediscovering the rich flavors and earthy aromas of homegrown Mexican tobaccos.
