J.C. Newman launched Brick House; a premium Cuban puro cigar made with the finest clear Havana tobaccos that he named after his childhood home in Hungary. It was one of the inaugural releases for the company that had a very successful run until the Great Depression put an end to the brand. Over 80- years later, grandsons Bobby and Eric re-launched Brick House cigars in two separate blends to honor their beloved grandfather and patriarch of the now famous J.C. Newman cigar family. The first blend launched, called Brick House Maduro cigars, feature the finest aged Nicaraguan binder and long filler tobaccos covered by beautiful, oily, and dark Brazilian Arapiraca maduro wrapper. These nostalgic cigars offer a medium to full bodied smoke laced with hearty notes of pepper, earth, chocolate, leather , and hints of dark fruit. Following on the heels of these very popular maduro’s, the Newman’s released Brick House Double Connecticut cigars, intended for smokers that prefer a smoother blend covered by a lighter wrapper. These cigars feature a Connecticut Shade wrapper and a Connecticut Broadleaf binder concealing long filler tobacco from Nicaragua.
