What is the appearance and construction like? The Don Pepin Garcia Cuban classic has a flawless appearance with no construction issues. It looks somewhat rustic, evoking memories of classic times. Its textured, smooth brown wrapper feels just right to the touch.
The cigar is firm to the touch, but there is just enough looseness within to give you a draw without complication or stress. You will feel no soft spots on the wrapper when you pinch it, and the few veins visible never protrude above the surface. Perhaps the best thing about the cigar in the beginning of the experience is the cap itself. It is very clean, with three sharp lines that define its triple layers. The cap is very firm too, allowing you to effortlessly slice off a wedge.
The oversized band draws immediate attention to it, increasing its attraction factor even further.
