The Brick House series is produced by the J.C. Newman Cigar Co. The company was founded by Julius Caesar (J.C.) in 1895 and is America’s oldest family-owned cigar maker. This series is one of the earlier brands and was launched to honor the founder’s family heritage and his beloved childhood memories.

The vintage cigar label depicts a pastoral setting similar to J.C. Newman’s childhood home – the only brick home in his village. Not only did J.C. Newman’s home serve as the family’s residence, but it was also the town’s tavern where locals and visitors alike gathered nightly to eat, drink, smoke and enjoy each other’s company.

The original Brick House cigars were Cuban puros, handmade with the finest Havana tobaccos. Third-generation cigar makers Eric and Bobby Newman, have recreated this vintage cigar brand by blending specially aged Nicaraguan tobaccos with hearty Havana SubidoTM wrapper leaves to match the rich, well-balanced flavor of their grandfather’s cigars.

Handmade in Nicaragua, these flavorful cigars are designed to be enjoyed and shared with friends – just like J.C.’s friends and family would have done 150 years ago in the original brick house.
