Don Tomas Cigars
Back in the days before the cigar boom of the 1990s, Dom Tomas cigars were made in Danli, Honduras with tobaccos acquired from nearby Honduran and Nicaraguan tobacco farms. These originals had all the well known characteristics of a hand rolled Honduran cigar: consistently rich flavors with a smoothness that made them a pleasure to smoke.
During the boom, however, these tobaccos became scarce and, because of the shortage, also became more expensive. So the makers of Don Tomas turned to alternate sources with little success. Under the guidance of Villazons renowned cigar master, Estelo Padron, the Don Tomas Clasico returns to its classic Honduran roots with new blends that once again use the rich, full-flavored Honduran and Nicaraguan tobaccos that made the original Don Tomas one of the best Honduran cigars in the world.
