A. Lancaster - I was one of the lucky, and I do mean
lucky, winners of a trip to the Big Smoke. I can not say enough about the
fabulous time we had. The trip was extremely well planned and the entire weekend
went from fun to more fun. Imagine meeting and smoking with some of the biggest
names in the cigar world! I will definitely be trying to win again!
K. Lancaster - I was a "tag along" with my
husband who won a trip to the Big Smoke. It was an awesome weekend from
beginning to end. All of the guys were so nice and Ron and Chip get the
"hosts of the year" award for making everything go so smoothly. I
highly recommend getting all the raffle tickets you can in the drawing this
year. If you are lucky enough to win, be ready for the time of your life!!
L. Van Kraayenburg - Being
identified a winner of the 2006 Big Smoke was just the beginning of excitement
and enjoyment. Ron runs a first class cigar shop, but he outdid himself when he
designed the Big Smoke competition – I have to admit I bought a ton of cigars
but it was all worth it. The trip to Vegas was first class all the way. Since
this was my first trip to sin city – wow what an eye opener. In short if you
want to experience a tremendous trip and meet a great group of people and smoke
all you want you have got to enter the weekly deal.
S. Chambers - I live in the Houston area and was
fortunate enough to discover the Serious Cigars store more than two years ago.
I have been dealing with Ron and the team ever since. Last year I was one
of the lucky customers who won a trip the Big Smoke in Las Vegas. The
experience could not have been better.
We stayed in a great hotel, Paris, and had transportation via
limousine to every event, as well as to and from the airport. We even took
limos to a hamburger stand. The Big Smoke event was amazing. Ron and
the
rest of the folks at Serious Cigars did everything they could to make the trip
the best it could be, and they succeeded beyond my wildest expectations.
I plan to win again this year, so I probably should not be
encouraging others with this report... Forget I said anything.
T. Idiaquez - I was selected as an alternate and much to my surprise an opening became available. What a trip. From the very beginning Ron and the crew at Serious Cigars treated me as if I had been visiting the store for many years. All arrangements were put into motion with the greatest of ease.
The flight, hotel and even a limo from the airport. Little did I realize that this was just the beginning.
From the time I landed to take off three days later it was like going to a reunion with your friends. While the Big Smoke was definitely the crowning jewel - I mean collecting 40 - 50 cigars, the finest malt liquors, exquisite food, with music and dancers how does one go wrong? Watched the guys play All In (poker), sat up until 4 and 5am talking and smoking some great cigars.
We met the Davidoff reps, the Cusano guys and many others.
Ron and Chip were phenomenal hosts, I only regret not meeting the rest of the staff from Houston. It is definitely a place I will spend some time at the next time I am in Houston!
I will be collecting raffle tickets for next years drawing and I will add some insurance by buying a ticket to the show. I look forward to hanging out with the best darn cigar smokers anywhere.
B Jenson - Although I did not get to go to In-n-Out
Burger ( because I was golfing with Leon @ Benny the baker ) the buffet at Wynn
Hotel was incredible. Cocktails at the Venetian was exciting with the
various cigar manufactures showing up with sample cigars exclusively for the
Serious Cigars group.
I did get to sip a Mojito at the Fuente bar. As a distributor
helping out it was so much fun to be with the Serious Cigars customers that were
on the trip. The winners were all such fine people to hang out with. The trip
went so fast cause Ron kept us full of things to do I just can't wait till this
years event. Wow how time flies.

- I was fortunate enough to win an expense paid trip to the big smoke in Las
Vegas from Serious
Cigars. It was a marvelous trip. The hotel was great and Ron had made
arrangements for all the ground transportation, tickets to the events and a
chance to meet many of the cigar reps. The entire
thing was first class. The other winners and the additional customers that
joined us were interesting people and fun to be with. It was a wonderful trip.
B Robinson - I was a drawing winner from South Carolina
and this literally was the first thing I have ever won. This was my first trip
to Las Vegas and what a incredible place it is. Ron could not have been a
better host and took care of every detail. The Big Smoke event was great, lots
of freebies, but hanging out with other cigar lovers was my favorite
part. It is truly amazing how strangers from all walks of life can instantly
strike up a conversation like they have known each other for years over a
cigar. Almost forgot the food, the In-n-Out Burger was a amazing
place and the buffet at the Wynn was absolutely incredible. Hope to be
able to it all again!
